Of the millions of people around the world who eat Cheddar daily, only a small amount will have tasted real farmhouse cheese. Wyke Farms Cheddar and Butter are made with only the finest milk produced by cows grazing the lush Somerset pastures, where genuine Cheddar cheese finds its roots.
There has been cheese making in the Wyke Farms area for centuries. More than 3,500 cheese makers existed when farmer's wife Ivy Clothier first made Cheddar from the family's dairy herd in the early 1900's.
Today, Wyke Farms is one of only 20 farmhouse cheese makers in the Cheddar region - and all of our cheese is still made to the same award winning recipe. |

Somerset is ideal for natural dairy farming, and as such our milk is produced to the finest standards. All of our products are naturally produced, suitable for vegetarians and are totally GM free.
Our dairy is also approved by the Soil Association allowing us to make organic Cheddar cheese.

Wyke Farms cheese is available nationwide in supermarkets, independent retailers and wholesale specialists - in over 25,000 stores. That makes Wyke Farms the largest family-owned cheese maker in the country, capable of producing over 20,000 tonnes annually.
